We know from our own experience that moving countries can be difficult and stressful - after all, you are leaving all of your familiar support networks and understanding of how things work behind in your home country.  Having made all of the effort to move to New Zealand we want to ensure that you stay.

 

That is why we developed The New Life New Arrivalz Pack.  We do much more than just taking care of logistics like meeting you at the airport and providing transport and accommodation when you arrive (although we do that too).  The really important thing that makes the difference in how well you and your family adapt to your new life in New Zealand is how well you are looked after and supported emotionally and socially.  Our resettlement consultants are all migrants themselves, so they know exactly what you are going through.  They can help you get through all of the nitty gritty details, but also the important things like choosing a school that will suit your children, helping you find the local shops that stock products from back home, introducing you to other recent migrants in your area so you start to form a social network...

 

As part of our airport meet and Greet service you will be met by a friendly face at either, Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch airports and taken straight to your accommodation: All the more if you have family members in tow. This is great service as in our experience you’ll be so jet lagged the last thing you want to do is fight for a taxi or worse still drive yourself and fall asleep at the wheel.

 

Before you leave for your new adventure you’ll no doubt want to know that you have somewhere to rest your weary head when you get to New Zealand. Whether you are looking for just a night or twos’ accommodation or a rental property for several months we can sort it all out for you in advance. We have a choice of accommodation to suit all tastes and requirements throughout the country.

 

Once you’ve arrived and settled in your attention will naturally turn to the everyday things in life that you took for granted at home but now may seem a bit daunting. You’ll be asking yourself, questions like, where are the good areas to live, which estate agent should I use, how do I enrol my kids in school, how do I get my IRD number, where’s the nearest dentist/doctor, does anyone know a reliable and honest car dealer!! Well, isn’t it good to know that there is someone on hand who has been through all this and come out the other side who is keen to help you adapt to your new surroundings?

When you arrive you’ll receive a 2 hour orientation to your new environment from a friendly ex-pat who’ll share all their tips with you so you can short cut the learning process. They’ll also be on hand by phone for up to 3 months to help you with anything you need.
