Meet The Team

Connor Brady

Managing Director

 

Connor was born in Ireland, educated in the UK and migrated to New Zealand with his wife Catherine in 1999 after spending 7 years living and working in Paris. Connor has a background in Human Resources and recruitment having worked for several New Zealand government departments and private sector companies. Connor, Catherine and their two young children moved to New Zealand for lifestyle and have loved every minute of it. Their weekends are often spent at the beach and socialising with friends.

 

 

 

 


In the mean time, I'd like to introduce you a little more formally to some of the other people who will be helping you on your way to a New Life in New Zealand:

 
 




Catherine Neazor Brady ,
BA(Hons), MHRINZ

Catherine has spent over 15 years in the human resource management industry and has an in-depth understanding of almost every matter related to employment.

Originally from Wellington, Catherine started her Human Resource Management career at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France where she worked for seven years and gained valuable first hand knowledge of the challenges faced by people making a life in a new country
.
After returning to New Zealand with Connor in 1999 she worked in a variety of roles in both HR and general management before setting up Emerald HR Solutions Ltd. (a general HR Services Consultancy and Employment Agency) and New Life New Zealand Ltd. with Connor Brady.

 

 

 

 

Katy Armstrong
Senior Immigration Specialist

LLB, Barrister (UK)

Katy is a UK-trained Barrister with a background in immigration, international human rights and refugee issues.

Katy started her legal career at a well-reputed Chambers in London and was instrumental in establishing a human rights project of the Center for Human Rights Legal Action in Guatemala.

She has had a multinational career which includes international conference organisation and emigrated to New Zealand in 2001 where she has enjoyed a variety of roles.

Katy is passionate about high customer service standards, and excited by the opportunity to enable other migrants to discover the benefits she has found for herself and her family living and working in New Zealand.



 

 

Paul Goddard
Business Development Manager

Paul emigrated to New Zealand from the UK in January 2003 with his family on a Long-Term Business Visa and his move was documented in the BBC TV series "Get a New Life". He succesfully set up and ran two new businesses on arrival then realised his calling was to help migrants like himself start a new life in New Zealand. Paul then worked for an organisation funded by the New Zealand government to help migrants from all over the world settle in New Zealand. Paul's role was especially focused on migrants from the UK and he has a wealth of knowledge that can assist in successful settlement in New Zealand. Paul is also the author of the book "A New Life in New Zealand".
 

 

 

 


 

Sarah Coombes

Immigration Specialist

Sarah came to us from Immigration New Zealand where she worked as an Immigration Officer. She loves her native country and has a passion for helping others  wanting to share her lifestyle.

Born and Bred in Hamilton she traded her colours to become a true “Scarfie” as she studied in Dunedin at Otago University, majoring in Ecomonics and Chemistry.  

An avid sports fan, Sarah enjoys playing squash, netball and tennis and like all kiwis heads to the beach in the weekend and holidays.








 

 

 

Gemma Mansbridge BBus – Case Administrator

 

Gemma is a Kiwi who was born and raised in Whangarei in the “Winterless North” of New Zealand. Having been brought up next to the “Best beaches in New Zealand” as she puts it, she likes nothing more than spending time outdoors or on the water. Gemma moved to Hamilton in 2003 and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Degree and now helps people from overseas share her love of New Zealand by helping them to migrate here. Gemma loves her music and she particularly enjoys attending outdoor festivals and concerts.
