| Details | Our client, a large Food Manufacturer company based in Dunedin, is looking for a motivated Registered Nurse with experience in an OSH role within a manufacturing environment. Following significant and positive change in our client’s HS&E team, this is a proactive rather than reactive role where the incumbent will use their methodical skills to develop and maintain a total Health Management Program. As the incumbent in this role, you will be reporting to the HS&E Manager, will be responsible for the company’s Health Strategy and Health Management, driving the site’s risk management and accident prevention programs by ‘walking the talk’. Of course, you’ll need to manage any occupational health cases too and so you’ll need to manage your time efficiently and make use of your excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: • Tertiary OSH qualifications and/or a Registered Nurse • Extensive relevant experience in an industrial OH&S role • Qualifications/experience in Hazard analysis, accident investigation, NZ H&S legislation • Proven ability to proactively identify OSH areas of need within the manufacturing environment and implement creative solutions • Computer literate • Excellent team player, able to positively motivate colleagues across all hierarchies • Supervisory skills • A positive, tenacious and energetic attitude This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a great team in a stimulating and rewarding work environment and also enjoy the excellent remuneration, benefits and career opportunities that an established company offers. |
