| Details | Our Auckland-based client is a leader in New Zealand’s pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and also a leading supplier of a broad range of products exported all around the globe. As part of their drive to broaden their range of products manufactured in New Zealand, our client is committed to adding a Soft-Gel Encapsulation manufacturing line to their cGMP licensed plant. Key to this project will be the engagement of an experienced Pharmaceutical Project Engineer with extensive experience in Soft-Gel Capsulation technology and/or manufacture. We are seeking a tertiary qualified project engineer with a minimum of 5 years Soft-Gel experience to join our client on a long term contract or preferably permanent basis to lead the installation, commissioning, validation and start-up of this new production facility. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for all aspects of this project, ensuring timely completion of milestones along the project line and supporting the production team through start-up of manufacture. Naturally you’ll be using your extensive experience in cGMP to ensure the production line meets corporate and regulatory standards. You will also have well developed people skills to support your technical expertise. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes and skills: • Tertiary engineering qualification or similar • Minimum of 8 years project engineering experience with the pharmaceutical industry • Minimum of 5 years Soft Gel production environment experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals (though candidates from a nutraceutical background will be considered) • Project management experience • Commissioning, validation and troubleshooting experience • Proven cGMP knowledge and experience • Strong leadership, communication and organisational qualities • Experience and knowledge with industry compliance requirements This is an exciting New Zealand-based engineering project opportunity where you will enjoy the lifestyle as much as you enjoy your work and with a company large enough to offer further exciting opportunities for the right candidate. |
