Job ID 75
Job Type Manufacturing/Operations
Salary: $50 - 70k
Region Auckland
City
Details Our Auckland-based client is a leader in New Zealand’s pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and also a leading supplier of a broad range of products exported all around the globe. As part of their drive to broaden their range of products manufactured in New Zealand, our clients are looking for an experienced cGMP professional with proven hands-on experience in soft-gel encapsulation technology to join their team in the capacity of Production Coordinator.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this will be a key role in the soft-gel encapsulation team, initially as part of the start-up team before taking on a permanent role of running the day to day manufacture in this department.

As those who have experience in this type of manufacture know, soft-gel encapsulation production is not a skill you learn over night. Because of this, our clients are seeking candidates like you with strong hands-on production and technical engineering experience in this sector. As the incumbent, you will lead a small team of production operators in building and running a robust and reliable production line. You will also have excellent communication and relationship building skills and have worked in a cGMP environment for a number of years.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes and skills:

• Several years experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years experience in soft-gel encapsulation manufacture
• 2+ years Supervisory/Team Leadership experience
• Proven cGMP knowledge and experience
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational qualities
• Experience in leading a production team and dealing effectively with personnel issues
• Experience and knowledge with industry compliance requirements

This is an excellent opportunity to lead and develop a team within a sought after organisation with excellent potential for progression.
