| Details | As our Registered Nurse you will be responsible for both Iris Medi-Call and their Foot Centre Service. This position is up to 35 hours per week. Area’s of responsibility will include using your nursing knowledge to: Demonstrate your ability to meet the needs of clients requiring community nursing in their own home, workplace or educational facility with the purpose of restoring the client’s health to the maximum extent practicable. Particular areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to wound care, cathether care, intravenous medication and line management, and medication administration Provide safe, effective and appropriate foot care services that meet the needs of the clients and their families Demonstrate a client centred approach Develop quality service plans for clients Liaise with the team and external agencies to achieve client needs Develop and maintain relationships with referring agencies, funding providers, clients and their families You MUST be a Registered Nurse (RGON, RCpN, BHSC) with a current New Zealand practicing certificate who has prior recent experience in working with people with disabilities and an interest in / or experience in foot care. You will also have knowledge of relevant agencies and services, good computer skills, a full clean drivers licence and a positive manner. Iris is a large and highly respected service organisation providing a range of services across the lifespan, from pre-school to the elderly with a diverse range of disability, injury and health related needs in the Auckland Metropolitan area.
