| Details | The hospital provides healthcare to a population of just over 100,000 people and is located in the lower South Island within easy reach of internationally acclaimed fishing areas and ski fields, let alone the other outdoor pursuits NZ is renowned for. The hospital offers services to a large geographical area offering enormous scope for variety and is keen to secure the services of an innovative health professional for their medical services. The respiratory service has 3 certified technologists providing a range of diagnostic tests including challenge testing and a dedicated Sleep Technologist. As the sole Respiratory Physician you would be providing full outpatient respiratory services to the Southland population and offering an inpatient consultation service also. You would be working closely also with the tertiary services in Otago and Canterbury and the dedicated team of six General Physicians and one Geriatrician.
